Randall Flagg is a man of many names and many worlds. The son of the powerful sorcerer Maerlyn, Flagg was innately gifted with magic and began studying it as a teenager, attaining immortality in the process. He eventually discovered how to travel between worlds and used this ability to sew chaos and destruction wherever he went, sometimes goading others on from the sidelines, sometimes outright trying to build his own empire. He's fought in many armies, under many banners. He is a liar, a trickster, and a tempter. Skilled at manipulation (and able to do so psychically in some cases), he delights in leading others down dark paths and exposing humanity's hypocrisies and inner darkness.
Although still technically human, he became a sort of entity in his own right, sometimes just becoming in new worlds, called there by enough hatred, violence, or chaos. Especially good and moral people tend to be uncomfortable around him, and very religious folk may even see him as the devil (or their religion's equivalent figure), refusing to accept him as a human. Most people, however, just see a man (albeit a man with an unsettling smile and eyes that betray his true age) until he reveals his nature.

| POWERS (CANON) |
A note on his powers: Flagg has quite a few powers, and some of them definitely fit into the overpowered category. They will all be used with discretion. The ones that would affect other characters (such as telepathy and suggestion) will only be used with permission. Anything that would have major impacts on the game plot will only be used with mod permission. If he gets into a conflict with other PCs I am absolutely willing to plan things out (or RNG to determine the result of the fight!) so that they still stand a fair chance against him. I can always come up with a reason why he's not using a particular power.
- IMMORTALITY Flagg doesn't age and is difficult to kill (mostly because of the rest of his power set below) although it can be done. If he dies, he usually re-appears somewhere else, although this particular mechanic will be replaced with in-game revival mechanics or lack thereof.
- SHAPESHIFTING He can change his appearance at will, and take on certain non-human traits such as sharper teeth or dark tendrils. He can also transform into a crow (and a giant crow; about horse-sized).
- TRANSMUTATION He can also transform other people, animals, and objects. He can change objects into other objects (including organic matter like fruits and flowers), but he cannot turn objects into animals or people. He is able to change people into animals and reduce their mental capabilities to that of the animal in question, and can change animals into humans but is unable to give them human-level intelligence or speech.
- TELEPATHY He is able to read the minds of others and know what their true feelings or intentions are. He can also temporarily disrupt the psychic abilities of others, or force them to feel pain. In canon, this ability was passive/always on and could be used on large groups of people. In game, he will have to actively use it and will only be able to use it on one person at a time.
- SUGGESTION He cannot force others to obey his commands, but he is able to influence them towards his will, especially if he is able to make multiple attempts at doing so. Essentially, it's strong and somewhat magically-enhanced persuasion.
- DREAM-WALKING Flagg is able to visit the dreams of others while they are asleep or under hypnosis. In their dreams, he can warp reality and make them see disturbing or difficult to comprehend things (such as the size and scope of the universe). He cannot cause physical damage to a person in a dream, so even if he attacks them they won't sustain that damage upon waking.
- NECROMANCY He is able to revive the dead, to a certain extent. The body must not be dismembered or catastrophically wounded (a missing limb would be fine; decapitation or a shotgun wound to the chest would not). The revived person will still have any rot they accrued while dead, so if the body is too old it will still look and smell like a corpse. He can choose whether or not they remember what the afterlife was like.
- CLAIRVOYANCE He is able to tell the future using methods such as tarot cards.
- CONTROL OVER FIRE He is able to control fire and create bursts of flame. He can also walk through fire without being harmed, although fire that is under the control of another person may still harm him.
- CONTROL OVER LIGHTNING Similar to his ability to control fire, he can make lightning strike and send bolts of electricity at others. Lightning he controls or creates cannot harm him; natural electricity or lightning controlled by others may harm him.
- CONTROL OVER ANIMALS Flagg is able to control animals, usually animals associated with death or darkness such as crows, ravens, wolves, flies, and cockroaches. He may not be able to control magical animals or animals with human-level intelligence.
- LEVITATION He can levitate a few feet above the ground.
- KNOWLEDGE OF/IMMUNITY TO POISON Flagg has knowledge of all poisons from Mid-World and Earth, and is immune to even technologically created poisons such as nerve gas. He will not instantly know about any game-specific potions without researching them, and may not be immune to them, either.
- DIMNESS He is not able to make himself completely invisible, but he is able to go dim. Dimness is near-invisibility in which the person in question can pass by most people unnoticed, but can be seen by people who are actively looking for them, or people who have close relationships with them.
- DEFLECTING PROJECTILES He can make ranged weapons (guns, bows, etc) miss by directing the ammunition away from him.
- SUPERHUMAN SPEED He is able to make sudden movements with superhuman speed. He can only use this ability for a second or so at a time, so he could suddenly grab someone or catch a projectile, but could not run all the way across a city or take out a group of people with super-fast attacks.
- SUPERHUMAN ACCURACY He is able to hit a target using ranged weapons (guns, bows, etc) accurately from long distances.
- TELEPORTATION He is able to teleport between locations as long as he can visualize where he wants to go.
- TRAVEL BETWEEN WORLDS Flagg is able to travel between different worlds by creating doors.

| POWERS (GAINED IN GAME) |
- INSPIRATIONAL FIGURE The character with this knack is so effortlessly charming, commanding, or innocent that the people around them have a hard time forcing their will upon her. Perhaps it is the fear of earning her displeasure, or the belief that good people should not be punished.
- DIVINE CONCEPTION Your character no longer needs to engage in sexual intercourse with a prospective partner to create a child. Simple physical contact is enough for them to cause pregnancy in their partner, or themselves.
